The Equisafety LED Head Torch is a powerful rechargeable lighting solution designed to enhance rider visibility in low-light and dark conditions. Using advanced COB LED technology, the head torch produces a bright, consistent light across a wide area while remaining lightweight, adjustable and comfortable to wear with a riding hat.

Unlike conventional LED strips, COB (Chip On Board) technology mounts multiple LED chips closely together to create a single, continuous light source. This produces a more uniform, diffused light without the visible gaps commonly found between individual LEDs.

230° Wide-Angle Illumination

The head torch provides an impressive 230° wide-angle beam, creating a broad illuminated area and increased visibility rather than concentrating the light into one narrow point.

The band provides a choice of white or red illumination. It can be positioned with the white light facing forwards or turned around so the red light is displayed at the rear, allowing riders to adapt it to their requirements.

Adjustable & Comfortable Fit

Designed to fit a wide variety of riding hats, the head torch features an adjustable buckle at the rear, allowing the fit to be altered as required.

The flexible silicone band provides a secure and comfortable fit while keeping the lighting system close to the riding hat.

Rechargeable with Battery Level Indicator

A built-in battery level indicator allows you to check how much power remains before and during use, helping reduce the chance of unexpectedly running out of light.

The unit is USB rechargeable, removing the need for disposable replacement batteries and allowing it to be conveniently recharged between uses.

Lighting Modes & Running Times

The COB lighting system provides multiple settings depending on the level of illumination required:

• 100% brightness: 350 lumens – approximately 2.5 hours 
• 35% brightness: 120 lumens – approximately 3.5 hours 
• Flashing mode: 150 lumens – approximately 2–4 hours 

Actual operating time may vary depending on the selected setting and battery charge level.

Safety & Important Information

Always check that the head torch is securely fitted to the riding hat before use and positioned so that it does not obstruct the rider’s vision or interfere with the normal fit and function of the riding hat.

Check the battery level before setting out, particularly when riding in darkness, and ensure sufficient charge remains for the intended length of use. Running times are approximate and vary according to the lighting mode selected.

The LED head torch is designed to increase visibility and provide additional illumination. It should not be relied upon as a substitute for appropriate high-visibility clothing, reflective equipment, suitable riding lights or other safety precautions required for the conditions in which you are riding.

Avoid staring directly into the COB LEDs or directing the light into another person’s eyes due to the intensity of the light.
